How to use/insert forms in Visual Composer?

There are plenty of form builder plugins out there in the WordPress market. With the help of forms, you can create a connection with your customers, build order forms, subscribe to the newsletter, you name it.

With Visual Composer, we give you the freedom of which form builder plugin to use on your site.

Most of the form builder plugins work via shortcode that you can insert anywhere on your site. To do this with Visual Composer, all you need is a Shortcode Element that allows inserting any 3rd party shortcode on your page via Visual Composer interface. There are few simple steps:

  • Download the Shortcode Element from the Visual Composer Hub;
  • Insert Shortcode Element in your layout;
  • Copy the form shortcode in the shortcode attribute;
  • Your form will be displayed.

Another option to insert form is by using the Text Block element which also accepts shortcodes. Here you will need to navigate to Text tab in the TinyMCE editor and copy your shortcode.

If shortcode is not what you want to deal with we have some great news for you. For the most popular WordPress form builder plugins we have prepared compatibility elements:

  • Contact Form 7;
  • Gravity Forms;
  • Ninja Forms;
  • WP Forms.

Note: For Compatibility elements, you will still need form builder plugin to be installed on your site.
